Made from hard composite materials, solid paddle boards are faster and more agile than inflatable paddle boards. Solid paddle boards catch waves easier when SUP surfing and are better performers for SUP racing or touring long distances. At Surfdock, we are stockists for Fanatic and NSP solid paddle boards in Ireland. 

SUP foiling is the latest craze in watersports. Foil boards are designed to fly over the water using a hydrofoil. Foil boards are versatile and can be used with a SUP paddle or a wingsurf wing. We stock foil boards from Ride Engine and Slingshot at our surf shop in Dublin.

A leash is essential to prevent your paddle board from drifting away from you after you fall into the water. We stock a wide range of coiled leashes for flatwater paddle boarding and straight leashes for sup surfing.

Also known as a personal flotation device (PFD), buoyancy aids are necessary to stay safe when paddle boarding. Choose from a compact waist air belt for less bulk or 50N buoyancy aid.

Keep your clothes, phone and keys dry on the water with a roll top dry bag. We carry a range of dry bag sizes from Red Original, Northcore, and Jobe. Simply stoe it under your boards deck netting when paddling.

At Surfdock we carry a wide range of wetsuits for stand up paddle boarding. Shorties are popular in the summer months and full length 5/4 for the winter. Choose from O’Neill, Jobe, ION, or Prolimit.

To inflate an inflatable paddle board, you will need a SUP pump. Most paddle board packages come with a standard pump. If you lose or break yours, we stock replacement dual and triple action SUP pumps.

If you don’t have a van or car big enough, a roof rack is required to transport your sold paddle boards. Roof racks come in single or double-sided which can usually carry a max of 3 SUP boards and surfboards on either side. All Roof racks come with strong webbing to secure your paddle board in transit.
