Surfdock was established more than 30 years ago and has developed from a windsurfing shop & school to a water sports centre and retail shop that now covers all your water sports needs whether you are surfing or sea swimming, windsurfing, paddleboarding or winging. We have everything, from wetsuits to boards, changing robes, neoprene accessories and all the little bits and pieces that make your life on and off the water more comfortable, more exciting and safer.
Now a 2nd generation family business, many things have changed over the last 3 decades, from the sports we teach in the Grand Canal Dock to the equipment we offer, but one thing has remained the same. We love watersports and we want to share that passion with you by providing the best equipment available and by teaching the skills our customers need to start with paddleboarding, windsurfing, sailing and kayaking.
Colin & Nina
When we are not in work you will probably find us at the beach. Surfing, foiling, windsurfing, swimming or out for a splash with the kids. Colin has been involved in the business since his dad Alan founded it in 1991 and started working as a windsurfing instructor for our summer camps as a teenager. Nina joined Surfdock in 2011 and together they are managing all aspects of the business.
Our Sustainability Ethos
If you know us outside of the shop, you’ll know that sustainability is one of the core values for our family and making sustainable choices also translates into how we run the business from the packaging of our online orders to working with brands that also consciously make more sustainable choices.
