Returns Policy for Online Purchases

Not in love or not the right size? How to return an item you purchased online (for delivery or click and collect).

You can return your purchase within 28 days of receipt which means that the item you would like to return has to reach us by that day. It is your responsibility that the item arrives with us in resalable condition, with all tags in place, unused and in its original packaging. Please email us before you make a return at shop@surfdock.com.

Return shipping is paid by the customer. If you would like another item, please place a separate order.

Please allow a processing time of 1-2 days for returns after we have received them. Once processed, refunds can take between 5-10 days to show back in your account.

It is your responsibility that the item arrives with us in resalable condition, with all tags in place, unused and in its original packaging.

✔️ Do

  • Use a tracked/signed for delivery service for peace of mind
  • Add your order number and name to the parcel so we know who sent it
  • Make sure to use suitable packaging that will protect the item and is big enough for it, like a cardboard box

❌ Don’t

  • Return items after your returns period has expired
  • Use unsuitable packaging like plastic bags that don’t protect the item
  • Roll up the item or fold it across the chest/back pad, especially if it is a wetsuit as it may permanently crease and will not be resalable
  • Make a return without your order number and name 

Refunds will be processed once we have made sure that the item is unused, in its original packaging, with all tags still in place and in resaleable condition. Returns that are received after 28 days will result in us not accepting the return.

3 Ways to return your item:

- Choose any postal/courier service of your choice, we recommend to use a tracked service

- Use the DPD.ie return portal at dpd.ie/returns to drop off your item at a DPD drop off point nearby. Choose Surfdock Marketing Ltd as retailer and follow the instructions on screen

- Return item in person at the returns address above. Please check current opening hours at surfdock.com

Please note that returns for in store purchases are handled differently. 

Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded.

Wrong or faulty item? 

If you have just opened your parcel and think that the item is faulty or that the wrong item was delivered, please contact us immediately by email at shop@surfdock.com or phone on 01-6683945 and we are happy to help. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Policy for In Store Purchases 

How to return an item you purchased in store

Purchases made in store can be returned and exchanged for a gift card or a different item. Cash/Card refunds are not available. Sale Items are excluded from exchange.

Please note that you have to return an item that was purchased in store within 28 days of your purchase.

You will need your email receipt or other proof of payment in order for us to process your return.

It is your responsibility to return the item in resalable condition, with all tags in place, unused and in its original packaging.

Exchanges will be processed once we have made sure that the item is unused, in its original packaging, with all tags still in place and in resaleable condition.

Returns that are made after 28 days will result in us not accepting the return.

Extended Exchange Period for Christmas 2022: 

Purchases of full price items online or in-store between the 16th November 2022 and 23rd December 2022 fall under our extended Christmas Exchange Period and can be exchanged for another item or a gift card until Saturday 7th January 2022. The item has to be received by us by this date either in-store or by post/courier, items returned at a later date can not be accepted. Items ordered from the 24th December 2022 onwards don't fall under this extended exchange policy. 

Important, please note: Sale items are excluded from the extended exchange policy. Our standard returns policy for online or in-store purchases applies to sale items. A sale item is any item that is bought at a reduced price.
