Better than Barefoot

Our Custom Pro Series has no equal in the world of aquatic footwear. Every material and design detail has been painstakingly researched, tested, refined, and perfected to yield a boot so good you'll forget you are wearing it. 

The Custom Pro is anchored by our patented Full Wrap arch strap, which locks your foot into the boot to insure zero delay between foot movement and board response. Combined with the precision fit of our custom heat-molding process, the Custom Pro provides barefoot feel and response for every possible foot shape: high or low arch, narrow or wide width, high or low volume.

Updates to the 2020 Custom Pro include:

  • Wider opening and removed internal tape at the O-Ring cuff improves stretch to make the boot easier to get on/off while still resisting water entry.
  • 3D Hollow Fiber neoprene lining material improves air flow for increased warmth.

Recommended Water Temps: 5-10C

Sizing Tip: Order your regular shoe size or 1/2 size down. For example, if you are a size 10.5, order a 10. Women should order 1-1.5 sizes lower to convert from Men's sizing. So if you are a Women's 8, order a Men's 7. If you are a Women's 8.5, also order a Men's 7. NOTE: If your feet are exceptionally narrow or low volume, you may want to size down even more.

    CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE

    Solite Boots provide the absolute best performance, comfort, and warmth if they are sized and fit correctly. Here are some tips to make sure you get the correct size boots for optimum fit:

    If you have Average/Wide Feet:

    You should purchase your sneaker size or 1/2 size smaller. Solite Boots should fit tight out of the box, but the heat molding process will stretch them to the perfect size. If your boots feel too big out of the box in any dimension (length/width/arch), then we suggest you try a size down. Even if they feel tight out of the box, heat molding will expand the boots to a snug but comfortable fit.

    NOTE: If you plan to use the 1mm Heat Booster Socks inside your boots, you may not have to size down. In fact, if you have wide feet you may even want to size up 1/2 size if you plan to use the 1mm Heat Booster Socks. For example, if you are a wide size 10.5 and plan to use the 1mm Heat Booster Socks, a size 11 may be a better fit. This is particularly applicable to the 6mm boots, which won't stretch in heat-molding as much as 3mm boots.

    If you have Narrow/Low-Volume Feet:

    You can size down 1 to even 2 sizes from your sneaker size! By heat-molding, the boot will stretch to fit your length, and narrow/reduce volume to hug your narrower foot. Once again, the 3mm Boots will stretch more easily in heat-molding than the 6mm boots, so keep this in mind when choosing.

    HEAT MOLDING INSTRUCTIONS

    Solite Boots are the world's first and only custom, heat-moldable watersports footwear. Custom fitting can be done in your kitchen with nothing more than a kettle of boiling water. To heat-mold your Solite boots, watch the video below and follow the instructions carefully. Do not use any other methods of heat molding except boiling water. Use of ovens, microwaves, heat guns, etc. will void your warranty.

       

       

      STEP-BY-STEP

      1. Bring water to a boil (you will need approximately 3 cups of boiling water per boot.)


      2. While water is heating, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and place them in a sink.


      3. Put on your Solite Heat Booster socks. These socks will help allow for a little extra space when the boots are being molded.


      4. Once water comes to a full bubbling boil, gently pour into your Solite boots (in the sink), filling each to slightly below the seam where the neoprene upper is attached to the sole. See photo.


      5. Wait 5 minutes for the boiling water to soften the sole material.


      6. After 5 minutes, carefully pour out the hot water from your Solite boot (doing one boot at a time) and quickly rinse out the inside of the boot with cold water to lower the surface temperature and to prevent burning. Test with your hand as you will want to get your foot in as warm as you can comfortably stand.


      7. Place your foot inside your Solite boot while wearing the Heat Booster sock. Make sure your big-toe sits comfortably in the toe cavity and your heel is flush in the heel pocket.


      8. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.


      9. Secure boot ankle straps if you have them.


      10. Walk around in your Solite boots for the next 10 minutes as they custom mold to your feet.


      11. Once your Solite Boots have cooled to room temperature, the molding process is complete.


      12. If you are unhappy with the fit, you can re-mold your Solite boots repeating the same steps above. Your Solite boots should feel completely comfortable, almost like part of your foot.

      Returns Policy for Online Purchases

      Not in love or not the right size? How to return an item you purchased online (for delivery or click and collect).

      Please note that you have to notify us of your intention to make a return within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have another 14 days for it to arrive with us. A return notification must be made in writing, it is not possible for us to accept return notifications over the phone or in person.

      Return shipping is paid by the customer. We currently cannot facilitate exchanges, if you would like another item, please place a separate order.

      Please allow a processing time of 1-2 days for returns after we have received them. Once processed, refunds can take between 5-10 days to show back in your account.

      It is your responsibility that the item arrives with us in resalable condition, with all tags in place, unused and in its original packaging.

      ✔️ Do

      • Use a tracked/signed for delivery service for peace of mind
      • Add your order number and name to the parcel so we know who sent it
      • Make sure to use suitable packaging that will protect the item and is big enough for it, like a cardboard box

       

      ❌ Don’t

       

      • Return items without notifying us of your return within 14 days of receiving your order
      • Use unsuitable packaging like plastic bags that don’t protect the item
      • Roll up the item or fold it across the chest/back pad, especially if it is a wetsuit as it may permanently crease and will not be resalable
      • Make a return without your order number and name 

      Refunds will be processed once we have made sure that the item is unused, in its original packaging, with all tags still in place and in resaleable condition. Returns that are made after 14 days will result in us not accepting the return.

You can also return an item in person at this address, however, you need to inform us in writing of your intention to make a return beforehand.       Wrong or faulty item? 

      If you have just opened your parcel and think that the item is faulty or that the wrong item was delivered, please contact us immediately by email at shop@surfdock.com or phone on 01-6683945 and we are happy to help. This does not affect your statutory rights.

      Purchases made in store can be returned and exchanged for a gift card or a different item. Cash/Card refunds are not available. 

      Please note that you have to return an item that was purchased in store within 7 days of your purchase.

      You will need your email receipt or other proof of payment in order for us to process your return.

      It is your responsibility to return the item in resalable condition, with all tags in place, unused and in its original packaging.

      Exchanges will be processed once we have made sure that the item is unused, in its original packaging, with all tags still in place and in resaleable condition.

      Returns that are made after 7 days will result in us not accepting the return.

      Faulty item?

      Covid-19: Our online orders are being shipped as normal every business day. Please expect slight delays to delivery times due to the high volume the couriers are dealing with currently. 

      Click and Collect

      You can place an order for click and collect if this option is shown to you at checkout. As not all stock is at our Dublin store, not all items will be available for click and collect but they may be available for shipping.

      After you have placed your order, you have 7 days to collect it. When 7 days have passed we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.

      For click and collect opening hours, please always check the current opening hours in the footer at surfdock.com. Always wait for the email confirming that your order is ready for collection before coming down. Note: Right now Monday and Sunday are not collection days.

      Shipping

      We ship orders from Ireland to Ireland and the EU. GB Shipping is suspended due to Brexit, we hope to resume this soon. We are dealing with a high order volume and dispatch orders within 1-2 business days of ordering.

       

      Your order value is the total calculated at checkout and you will be able to see your delivery charge before you complete the checkout process. If your order qualifies for free shipping, you will be given this option at checkout.

      Republic of Ireland

Orders placed after 12:00 noon on Friday and on weekends will be shipped on Monday and delivered on Tuesday (unless the Monday is a bank holiday when they will be shipped on the Tuesday). No shipping on weekends or bank holidays.
