Black Friday sales are cancelled

Why we‘re opting out of Black Friday (again)

We love a good bargain as much as the next person so we do understand the attraction of Black Friday deals. In times when there is excess supply of goods, discounts can make sense for businesses and customers. Right now, is not such a time. At least not in our industry. For a more in-depth look at some of the reasons we are cancelling Black Friday check out our blog post from last year. Nothing has changed since then if anything, it has become more difficult to stock the shelves with the products we love.

If you‘ve been looking for a wetsuit lately you have probably heard a similar story everywhere. Stock is delayed, less is available, the cost of production and transport has gone up.

We do have good stock of pretty much everything at the moment, which is great news! But if we were giving away what we have at heavily reduced prices, this would have a hugely negative impact on our business. We may not have enough stock to last through the season.

One ouf our main goals is to provide you, our customers, with the best quality brands on the market in a wide range of choices so that you can enjoy your time in and on the water as much as possible.

In order to continue to be able to do that, we will not be participating in Black Friday this year.

Even better, our extended Christmas Exchange policy is in effect now. Any full price items bought between the 28th October 2021 and the 23rd December 2021 can be exchanged until the 8th January 2022. So you can shop for Christmas now knowing that if you don‘t get it absolutely right, you have plenty of time to exchange it. See here for full terms and conditions.

We have some limited products on clearance sale sale while stocks last. Note: extended Christmas exchange policy does not apply to sales items.

We‘d love to hear your feedback about this and are always happy to get your emails at shop@surfdock.com.

See you on the water soon,
Nina & Colin
